IN THE NEWS: The risk of a common cold or flu DROPS with the use of probiotics In a common misconception, many people think of a common cold or flu as nothing more than a ‘nuisance.’  An annoying cough-fest with body aches and chills.  In other words, nothing too serious, right? Well, not really.  But, that’s not to say we should live in fear of these infections either.  The reality is – for immune-compromised people – a bacterial or viral infection can be life-threatening.  And, for everyone else, it’s just a clear sign that our immune system is being stressed to the max! Thankfully, although many people remain uneducated about this, research reveals how probiotics can help boost immune function and a resistance to the common cold or flu. Depending on which public health organization you listen to: influenza and pneumonia normally claim between 36,000 to 57,000 lives in the U.S. – each and every year.  Although those numbers are somewhat inaccurate – because the true cause of death is usually triggered by other health issues. In fact, according to a recent article published in New England Journal of Medicine, last year’s flu vaccine was found to be only 10 percent effective in Australia.  In the U.S., it’s not much better. In an article published in Frontiers of Immunology, the authors report that influenza is a leading cause of catastrophic disability in older adults – and can be life-threatening.  In a placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 250 participants and published in Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology, researchers tested a cocktail of 5 different strains of probiotic bacteria against the flu. The team found that the mixture drastically reduced the incidence of both colds and influenza, with the placebo group experiencing 16 episodes of flu –as compared to 3 in the probiotic group. In other words, those who didn’t take probiotics were over four times more likely to develop influenza!

WELLNESS: Weightlifting for an Hour a Week Cuts Risk for Stroke and Heart Attack Up to 70 Percent  Strength training is foundational for optimal health, especially as you get older. IN THE NEWS: Flu Vaccine Everyone knows about the flu and the flu vaccine. What people do not know is that flu vaccines are nearly useless in preventing flu, they will cause the flu, and they often result in nervous system damage that can take years for the body to repair. Other nations chuckle at Americans' infatuation with the flu vaccine. The joke would indeed be funny if it weren't for the damaging effects caused by the vaccine. A study published in the October 2008 issue of the Archives of Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine found that vaccinating young children against the flu had no impact on flu-related hospitalizations or doctor visits during two recent flu seasons. The researchers concluded that “significant influenza vaccine effectiveness could not be demonstrated for any season, age, or setting” examined. A 2008 study published in the Lancet found that influenza vaccination was NOT associated with a reduced risk of pneumonia in older people. This also supports an earlier study, published in The New England Journal of Medicine. Research published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine also confirms that there has been no decrease in deaths from influenza and pneumonia in the elderly, despite the fact that vaccination coverage among the elderly has increased from 15 percent in 1980 to 65 percent now. In 2007, researchers with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and the National Institutes of Health published this conclusion in the Lancet Infectious Diseases: A large-scale, systematic review of 51 studies, published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews in 2006, found no evidence that the flu vaccine is any more effective than a placebo in children under 2. The studies involved 260,000 children, age 6 to 23 months. NOTE: to prevent colds and flu’s control humidity, take vitamins A&D and C and get regular adjustments. Based on reports from the governments Vaccine Court the flu vaccine is the deadliest vaccine ever produced.

We also advise outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear poop. Black bear poop is smaller and contains lots of berries and squirrel fur. Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper."

Drier air causes sinuses to dry and crack, making people more susceptible to winter colds and flu viruses. To rinse your sinuses, use a neti pot, a small teapot-like device sold at most natural food stores. Combine three parts non-iodized salt and one part baking soda, and add 1/2 teaspoon of this mixture to 1/2 cup of warm water in the pot. This solution matches your body's salinity, and baking soda makes it less irritating to your sinuses.

Lean over a sink and insert the spout of the pot into your left nostril. Tilt your head and the pot to the right and let the solution flow out your right nostril. Exhale forcefully through both nostrils and repeat on the other side. Repeat as needed.

IN THE NEWS: PESTICIDE INDUSTRY SQUASHES LOCAL RIGHTS The Lincoln County, Oregon, aerial spray ban was passed in May 2017, restricting timber companies from aerial pesticide sprayings in the county. The ban was a major success of Lincoln County Community Rights, a small group of volunteer Oregon locals who took on pesticide giants in a fight for what they believed to be the inalienable right to live in a county without pesticides harming their health. Pesticide trade group CropLife America, which had revenue of more than $16 million in 2015 and whose dues-paying members include Monsanto, Syngenta, Dow and DuPont, stepped in to try to stop the ban. CropLife America teamed up with PR firm Paradigm Communications and created an opposition group called Protect Family Farms and Forests to paint the local residents as eco-terrorists. A lawsuit has already been filed to make the pesticide ban invalid on the grounds that it is pre-empted by Oregon state law. Forty-three states have pesticide pre-emption laws that may restrict local governments from allowing pesticide restrictions that go beyond those required at a federal level, and the industry is trying to push for pre-emption at the federal level.

Chiropractic success story: I cannot tell this story enough. For us, chiropractic has been the answer to a serious problem. We were experiencing severe tantrums with Z., one of our two-and-a-half-year-old twins. The pediatrician said he was normal but at the “extreme end of the behavior scale.” As his mother, I wasn’t satisfied with this answer. I felt Z. was uncomfortable in some way or in some kind of pain, and I was desperately searching for answers. Z.’s tantrums would last up to an hour. They included sobbing, nonsense babbling, throwing and breaking things, and often hurting himself, whether biting himself, pulling his hair, or hitting his own head. He’d throw himself down anywhere, once down a concrete staircase onto a concrete patio, often in the middle of the street, and just lose control. Sometimes he would repeat, “help me, help me, help me.” Almost anything could spark the tantrums, sometimes just a noise or sound he might not like. There could be as many as 5-6 hour-long tantrums a day. The behavior started when Z. was just over a year old and seemed to be getting progressively worse. His communication skills, which had developed early, were also regressing. Instead of exchanging information in a typical toddler conversation, he often simply repeated the question asked or words said to him. He usually preferred to sit alone rather than have someone sit next to him. Fearing that one of us would soon need to be medicated, we started chiropractic care. Under steady chiropractic care, we immediately saw improvement in the degree of the tantrums. They initially continued to occur almost as often, but were not as severe. After five weeks of regular visits, the results are nothing short of miraculous. His communications skills are back to normal for his age. He initiates conversations again, comments reasonably on things, and asks and responds to questions. But perhaps my favorite improvement is the emotional one. He sits with me all the time and will give me all the kisses and hugs I ask for. He says, “I love you, Mommy,” whenever the feeling strikes him. I couldn’t be happier.

IN THE NEWS: Who's Behind the Claim That Oil Is Pure Poison? A German lecture in which Harvard professor Karen Michels proclaims coconut oil is “pure poison” has been picked up by many English-speaking media outlets.  Michels is a proponent of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) advisory against saturated fats such as coconut oil. She also has professional ties to Harvard professor Frank Sacks, who was the lead author of the AHA’s 2017 advisory on saturated fats. The AHA’s Presidential Advisory against saturated fats specifically identifies coconut oil as a harmful fat, even though coconut oil was not included in any of the studies AHA used to support its claims. The low-fat myth was born and grew to take hold in the 1960s and early ‘70s, and it is four studies from these eras that the AHA uses as the justification for their recommendation to avoid saturated fats. Coconut oil supports thyroid function, normalizes insulin and leptin sensitivity, boosts metabolism and provides excellent and readily available fuel for your body in lieu of carbohydrates. NOTE: One of my professors at school told us that we could make any ridiculous claim about diet and he would find one authority that agreed with it and one that disagreed with it. The high complex carb low-fat diet is a proven failure when used on the population as a whole. There is a subgroup of the population that do really well on this diet but the faulty research behind this diet has led to outrageous claims from this Harvard professor. It can take decades for bad science to be eliminated. Don’t be afraid of coconut oil.

WELLNESS: UK Guidelines Recommend Honey for Cough, Not Antibiotics With the goal of reducing inappropriate antibiotic use by half by 2021, the U.K. Department of Health has proposed new guidelines recommending the use of honey as the first line of treatment for coughs. Antibiotics do little to improve colds and flu or symptoms like coughs and sore throat because they are not designed to treat viral infections, which typically run their course within a week or two. The antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of honey are well-known, making honey a great alternative to prescription drugs when treating coughs. I highly recommend Manuka honey, which has a long history of use as a treatment for bacterial infections and wounds, making it a beneficial natural health remedy. Here’s a couple of recipes to try: Mix equal amount of honey and lemongrass juice then drink to reduce the coughs.@@ Mix a syrup consisting of 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons water, mix, and drink.

When the pH of the body gets out of balance (too acidic), we may experience low energy, fatigue, excess weight, poor digestion, aches and pains, and even more serious disorders.

Your water needs are based on your body weight. Half your body weight is your cleansing dose and 80% of that is your minimum because otherwise you're dehydrated.

100 pound person, 50 ounces is their cleansing dose and 40 ounces is a minimum of fluids they should drink every day.

We carry very sensitive pH paper for determining your urine pH which is the pH we base your need for alkaline water on. If you're a vegetarian and your pH is already alkaline then you can just drink regular filtered water. But if your pH is lower than 6.4 then you need to drink alkaline water. I would recommend 1 L a day minimum. Depending on your weight more might be indicated.

How alkaline of water should I drink? Water can come from about 7.8 to 10. You can drink water that is to alkaline for you and it is best to be tested at our office to determine the best pH. Waters with a pH of 9 to 9.5 tend to test the best, but your situation might be different.

Both saliva and urine pH should be 6.4. When you maintain that then your blood and cells will be able to maintain the pH that is right for them. Saliva pH indicate your digestive pH whereas urine pH indicates your body pH. So for determining your need for alkaline water urine pH is the one to watch. Also it is recommended not to drink alkaline water with meals. If you're going to drink water with a meal I recommend squeezing several lemon or lime slices in the water to make it acidic. Lemon and lime will be alkaline on your body yet acid in your stomach.

As you chew your food you help break it down for your stomach as well as blend it with saliva which helps start the whole process. As the food enters the stomach it starts to churn and release digestive enzymes. Hydrocloric acid (HCl) is one of the most important enzymes that the stomach releases. The amount of HCl that leaves the stomach with the food entering the small intestines stimulate fluids from the liver and gallbladder as well as enzymes from the pancreas to complete the digestive process. A healthy stomach has a mucous lining that protects the stomach from its own acids. When the body senses that this coating has been reduced it automatically reduces the amount of HCl it secretes. Probiotic strain cures peanut allergies in 80 percent of children

Now scientists in Australia at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute are finding out that probiotics are the biggest step toward curing fatal peanut allergies in children. The 30 children involved in this study were allergic to peanuts at the onset. During the 18-month study, the children were given both peanut flour and a probiotic called Lactobacillus rhamnosus. After a year and a half, 80 percent of the children were able to tolerate peanuts. It appears that Lactobacillus rhamnosus is the missing piece of the children's immune systems. Lead researcher Mimi Tang said the families involved in the study were so impressed with the probiotic treatment that they said it "changed their lives."

IN THE NEWS: EVIDENCE ON TALC CANCER RISK DIFFERS FOR JURORS, RESEARCHERS CHICAGO –  A U.S. jury verdict linking regular use of Johnson & Johnson talcum powder to a woman's death from ovarian cancer has spurred new concern from consumers, but scientists say the evidence of real danger is inconclusive at best. Talcum powders are made of talc, a mineral comprised of bits of magnesium, silicon and oxygen that absorbs moisture. In its natural form, some talc contains asbestos, a known carcinogen. But all commercial products sold in the United States have been asbestos-free since the 1970s. Most of the concern has focused on whether long-term exposure to talc fibers might cause lung cancer among talc miners, and whether women who routinely applied talcum powder on their genitals had an increased risk of ovarian cancer, according to the American Cancer Society's website. Studies in talc miners exposed to talc containing asbestos have been mixed, but there is no increased lung cancer risk from asbestos-free talc products, the group says.

IN THE NEWS: Tattoos can cause serious adverse reactions, study finds Getting inked may have long-term consequences beyond just having to live with your ex-girlfriend's name on your bicep for decades. About 1 in 10 people who get tattoos experiences problems with the tattoo, including infection, itching, swelling and redness, according to a small study in the June issue of the journal Contact Dermatitis. Many people in the study had complications that lingered for years after the tattoo was inked, the researchers said. Although tattoo artists and parlors are strictly regulated in order to limit infection and disease transmission risk, few people know what is in the tattoo ink itself. "Tattoo inks aren't very closely regulated in the United States," Leger told Live Science. "There have been case reports of tattoo removal in certain kinds of ways that can cause anaphylactic reactions," Leger said, referring to the deadly allergic reaction that involves the closing of the throat and a dangerous drop in blood pressure.

It is said that we get sick one cell at a time and we get well one cell at a time. If we’re talking about chiropractic adjustments, the purpose is to establish normal nervous system function. Since your nervous system controls and coordinates every part and system of the body you can see why reducing the stress on the nervous system is so important. The body knows exactly what to do to maintain proper function (health), just sometimes it can’t express that information because of stress on key nerves. Be it acid reflux, allergies, headaches, back pain or hormonal imbalances the body knows how to correct these. But when the communication channels of the body get compromised by misalignments, the body is not able to maintain normal function and thus disease is the result. It can take months and maybe years before that disease becomes manifest through symptoms. And so when you start care you might think because the symptoms just started last week or last month that it’s a young condition. The truth is this condition could’ve taken years to first become symptomatic. Yes the symptoms started last week or last month but the condition started years before.

As we begin to correct the problem at the spine then cells that have been functioning improperly take time to heal and reestablish normal function. Luckily symptoms can disappear fairly quickly in most cases and this can be confusing to patients because when the pain is gone or the symptom has left, they can think that they are well again. This can cause them to mistakenly end care too soon. And thus the condition will continue to develop underground until you have breakthrough symptoms eventually, which could be somewhat different than the symptoms you had before.

A similar scenario happens when we are doing nutritional therapy. Nutrients due to faulty diet, stress and other factors can become imbalanced or deficient over time. This will cause cells to start to malfunction and when enough cells are malfunctioning then the organ will start to malfunction. Again symptoms will be the last to appear and usually represent something that’s taken months if not years to develop. As we determine what nutrients are necessary to restore normal function it can take time for the body to do the healing. Again when the symptoms leave it doesn’t mean the process is completed.

There are a series of steps that tend to take place in all healing. The body will need to detox poisons that have developed due to faulty diet and systems that are not functioning properly and thus not detoxing properly. And then nutrient levels have to be reestablished and rebalanced in order for cells to start functioning properly. Measuring stomach pH/function using pH paper

The official way to measure stomach pH is to start with the stomach empty so only fluid remains in the stomach. Stomach fluid is removed through a tube that is inserted into the stomach through the esophagus (food pipe).

An easier way to approach this to get a “relative” stomach pH is to use pH paper to test your saliva. Normal saliva pH should be 6.4 as the pH of the stomach goes up and down the saliva will change in its pH as well.

You can demonstrate this on yourself by checking your pH and then consuming a meal and recheck your pH over the next hour. You should notice that your pH becomes alkaline right away as the acid in the stomach is being diluted by the food. In most cases it takes 30 minutes to an hour before your pH returns to the pre-meal state. If it takes longer for your pH to return to normal that suggest a weakness in the digestive process. Even though this test doesn’t give you an exact stomach pH it will give you a functional pH significant enough to tell you how your digestive process is doing.

To do proper pH testing on the body it’s important to have pH paper that is sensitive to subtle changes. The common pH paper that’s found in the drugstore is usually not sensitive enough to do proper body pH testing. Some papers only test every .5 in the pH scale you want to paper that tests every .2 in the pH scale. Your urine and saliva pH should be 6.4 under normal circumstances during the day. The exceptions to this is that your urine pH becomes concentrated overnight and tends to be more acid. And so if you want an accurate urine pH it’s best to check it sometime after your first morning void. Then the pH should be 6.4 any other time that you tested it unless you’re having an allergy reaction which would tend to make it more acidic.

Your saliva as we mentioned earlier will become more alkaline right after a meal. So the best time to check your saliva pH is either before you eat or more than an hour after you eat.

By checking your saliva pH every 30 minutes after a meal can reveal subtle problems with the digestive process. If it takes more than an hour for your saliva pH to return to its pre-meal state then that suggest a weak digestive system.

The problem in the digestive system causing your saliva pH to be off could be anywhere within the digestive track and so an evaluation is necessary to find the source of the problem. We recommend that if you start a meal at a pH 7 or higher that you take enzymes both before and after that meal. Most enzymes are best taken at the end of a meal unless their vegetable-based enzymes. The idea is that you want your digestive system to do as much as it can and then just supplement it to help improve a more thorough breakdown of your foods.

Undigested food is an irritant to your colon. This is why chronic use of antacids are so dangerous not only because they put undigested food which is an irritant to the lining of the colon but they also allow microorganisms that would normally be killed in the upper digestive track. HCl helps purify your food as well as breaking it down. So chronic use of antacids would deprive you of essential nutrients from the foods that you eat. And since minerals are metal they will be the first of the nutrients that you will start noticing deficiencies from. But other elements like B-12 are classically found low in people who use antacids chronically.

Your body pH, which is tested through the urine, can also be a factor affecting your digestive pH. It’s not uncommon to find both of these pHs to be extremely different and at opposite extremes. If your urine pH, body pH, becomes way too acid there can be a negative feedback loop that suppresses your stomach’s production of even more acid. So an attempt to correct your digestive pH you might have to utilize techniques to improve your body pH. Since most of our chronic diseases develop in an inflammatory chemistry having an acid urine can be a indicator of inflammatory chemistry.

Utilizing alkaline water or alkalizing foods can have a healing effect on an inflammatory chemistry. You can ask for a pH food list to help correct your body pH if it is too acid or to alkaline. If your urine is too acid then you need to eat more alkalizing foods which are listed on the handout.

Alzheimer's disease was officially recognized a hundred years ago, but there's still no effective medical approach for it. Alzheimer's can be a devastating disease that can make a person disappear a little bit at a time. Eventually the person that you knew is no longer there which can be a hopeless experience. There is new understanding about this condition that has led to new approaches to help arrest and even reverse it. Most of you have heard of beta amyloid plaque which many thought was the cause of this disease. This plaque has been found on MRIs and used to be a way of judging the outcome of this disease. A drug was discovered that can reduce this beta amyloid plaque and was rushed into testing. The surprising results were that it accelerated the disease. The trials were quickly abandoned and a new understanding emerged of what was actually going on in the condition.

It has since been discovered this plaque is actually the body's defense against damage to the brain. Beta amyloid plaque is now understood as being in antimicrobial peptide. In other words is part of the body's immune system against damage. Recent studies have shown that while the adaptive immune system has limited access to the brain, the central nervous system can still mount a robust response to invading pathogens, antimicrobial peptides and the innate immune system. Vitamin D has been found to be one of the protective nutrients in controlling the damage to the brain. Even though vitamin D is not a cure-all for Alzheimer's, studies have shown it to benefit not only Alzheimer's but Parkinson's disease.

Studies have also found that the herpes simplex virus (the cold sore virus) is one of the different organisms that can initiate damage to the brain. This particular virus has been found in 90% of adults even though they don't show outbreaks of cold sores. But there are usually other factors besides this virus alone that sets up the process of damage within the brain. Chlamydia (chlamydophila penedumoniae) is also another microorganism found in the brain.

Microglia are a type of glial cell that are the resident macrophages (cells that consume microorganisms) of the brain and spinal cord, and thus act as the first and main form of active immune defense. These cells are found around the damaged area of the brain in Alzheimer's. These cells are activated in inflammatory chemistry and can be triggered by viruses, excitatory proteins, a lack of vitamin D and obesity.

In a UCLA study, patients made dramatic lifestyle changes. They avoided simple carbs, gluten and processed foods. They increased their fish intake, took yoga and meditated. They were instructed to take melatonin, get adequate sleep, incorporate vitamin B-12, vitamin D-3 and fish oil. Within six months, nine of the 10 memory-loss patients saw a noticeable improvement in memory. One patient, who was in the late stages of Alzheimer's, did not show improvement.

IN THE NEWS: Rhodiola shows antidepressant benefits in new study Rhodiola rosea, an herb deriving from Siberia and China, has shown benefits as an antidepressant agent in a recent study. Published in the March 15 edition of the journal Phytomedicine, Rhodiola was tested among 57 subjects suffering from mild to moderate depression over 12 weeks, against the antidepressant drug sertraline. Results of the study were measured using standard scoring tests. The results showed that Rhodiola offers antidepressant benefits, though sertraline proved more effective. But the researchers who conducted the study found Rhodiola imparts fewer negative effects than sertraline, making it a safer choice. IN THE NEWS: HOW DO PEOPLE SPREAD STRESS TO EACH OTHER? Working with people who are stressed has both physiological and emotional effects. Perspiration produced under emotional strain releases alarm pheromones, or airborne chemical signals. When inhaled by others, these substances activate the amygdala, the region of the brain linked to emotional arousal, according to a 2009 study in PLOS One. Researchers in the study compared 32 subjects’ reactions to sweat collected from people doing their first sky-dive, including a one-minute free fall, with the response to sweat from people running on a treadmill without any emotional strain. Both types of sweat were kept free of bacteria that cause a bad odor, and both smelled the same, but the exercise sweat didn’t cause the same response, the study showed. Another study, published in 2011 by researchers at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, found that inhaling substances from sweat produced under stress causes people to focus more closely on details in others’ facial expressions that might signal a threat.

IN THE NEWS:UNICEF warns lack of toilets in Pakistan tied to stunting--- More than 40 million people in Pakistan do not have access to a toilet, forcing them to defecate in the open, which in turn is a major contributor to stunting in the country, a top UNICEF official said. Pakistan is the third-largest country when it comes to people going to the bathroom in the open, behind India and Indonesia. The problem can spread disease and lead to intestinal infections, which can contribute to stunted growth in young children.

WELLNESS:MARIJUANA SMOKING  investigators had shown that smoking one marijuana cigarette leads to the deposition in the lungs of four times as much tar as smoking a tobacco cigarette containing the same amount of plant material. Marijuana cigarettes are not filtered and are more loosely packed than tobacco, so there's less filtration of the tar. DIET: SUPER ENERGY KALE SOUP Ingredients:1 medium onion, chopped,4 cloves garlic, chopped,5 cups chicken or bone broth, 1 medium carrot, diced into 1/4-inch cubes (about 1 cup), 1 cup diced celery, 2 red potatoes, diced into 1/2-inch cubes, 3 cups kale, rinsed, stems removed and chopped very fine, 2 tsp dried thyme, 2 tsp dried sage, salt and pepper to taste. Directions: Chop garlic and onions and let sit for 5 minutes to bring out their health benefits. Heat 1 TBS broth in a medium soup pot. Sauté onion in broth over medium heat for about 5 minutes stirring frequently. Add garlic and continue to sauté for another minute. Add broth, carrots, and celery and bring to a boil on high heat. Once it comes to a boil reduce heat to a simmer and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 more minutes. Add kale and rest of ingredients and cook another 5 minutes. If you want to simmer for a longer time for extra flavor and richness, you may need to add a little more broth. Serves 4 Kale contains more than 45 unique flavonoids, which have both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Kale is rich in disease-fighting vitamins K, A, and C, along with respectable amounts of manganese, copper, B vitamins, fiber, calcium, and potassium. IN THE NEWS: SUPERBUG (CNN)The same superbug that contributed to two deaths in Los Angeles has been reported in North Carolina, where one person has died, a spokesman told CNN. Hospital officials there have said the outbreak was caused by two medical scopes that still carried the deadly bacteria even though disinfection guidelines were followed.

To reach this conclusion, the researchers studied the effect of sugary sodas on human telomeres. At the very tip of each arm of the chromosome is where you'll find the telomere. Your telomeres shorten with time because they cannot replicate completely each time the cell divides. Hence, as you get older, your telomeres get shorter and shorter.They found that people who drank more sugary soda tended to have shorter telomeres. Drinking an 8-ounce daily serving of soda corresponded to 1.9 years of additional aging, and drinking a daily 20-ounce serving was linked to 4.6 more years of aging.
