(The \u201cJournal of Human Hypertension\u201d released a study indicating chiropractic neck adjustments lower blood pressure<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"> better than two medications given at the same time<\/span><\/span>.)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">For some people,<\/span> this advice (and following through with it) is enough to get their blood pressure back to normal levels.<\/p>\n<p>If the above recommendations don\u2019t seem to correct the problem then there are additional things to height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">New studies show that<\/span> by using isometric gripping exercises you can reduce your blood pressure considerably.\u00a0 Also Controlled breathing, trying to maintain less than 10 breaths a minute can lower blood pressure.\u00a0 I would recommend two websites: zona.com and lowermypressure.com.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Minerals like potassium and magnesium<\/span> can be the cause for some people\u2019s high blood pressure if your low in them.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Foods that are high in potassium:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keefeclinic.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/food.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-139\" src=\"http:\/\/www.keefeclinic.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/food-300x235.jpg\" alt=\"keefe clinic, tulsa chiropractic\" width=\"300\" height=\"235\" myth<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keefeclinic.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/salt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-310\" src=\"http:\/\/www.keefeclinic.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/salt.jpg\" alt=\"salt\" width=\"259\" height=\"194\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Research shows<\/span> that for the vast majority of people,natural salt (sea salts) consumption does not raise blood pressure.\u00a0 The truth is avoiding salt can be dangerous to your health.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">One study in the \u201cJournal of Human Hypertension\u201d<\/span> (13:777-80, 1999) concluded that substituting table salt for potassium, magnesium, sodium salt...\u00a0 9 out of 20 elderly hypertensive patients experienced an 11 point drop in their daytime systolic blood pressure.\u00a0 It turns out that natural sea salt rich in natural potassium, magnesium and sodium helps to normalize healthy blood pressure levels.\u00a0 un less your sodium sensitive, chances are your high blood pressure stems from a lack of the correct ratio of key minerals.\u00a0 Salt is basically sodium chloride and sodium ions, the two major components of salt, are necessary for survival for all known living creatures, including humans.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Don\u2019t be afraid of the sun<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a #ff0000;\">A recent study published<\/span> in the \u201cArchives of Internal Medicine\u201d found that eating or drinking cocoa lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of death in older men.\u00a0 A substance known as flavan-3-ols found in dark chocolate has been shown to lower blood pressure and improve the function of cells lining the blood vessels.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> Men who ate chocolate regularly over a 15 year study were found to have lower blood pressure than those who didn\u2019t,<\/span> even when weight, smoking, physical activity and other factors were taken into account.\u00a0 Remember it\u2019s dark chocolate, I recommend finding one that has cocoa content 80% or higher.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #000080;\">Don\u2019t eat the whole bar just break off one layer per day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Drink your water<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keefeclinic.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Fotosearch_k6222266-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-421\" 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Dehydration can increase your blood pressure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Water needs are based on body weight<\/span>.\u00a0 The formula is half the body weight considered in ounces.\u00a0 For example a 100 pound person\u2019s cleansing dose would be 50 ounces of fluids per day.\u00a0 80% of that would be the minimum dose, for instance 80% of 50 ounces is 40 ounces.\u00a0 For a hundred pound person they should drink between 40 to 50 ounces a day to keep hydrated otherwise they become dehydrated which can lead to several different health problems, high blood pressure is just one of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KeefeClinic\"><img
