The human body is electric because the body cells are electric. Disorders and diseases of the body have vibration frequencies that are incompatible with healthy cells. What is a typical footbath detox session?

While immersing your feet in the water, positive and negative ions are emitted by the system. This reenergizes the body and red blood cells. This type of system is described as a Detoxification machine because the response of a rebalanced body is to excrete any excess toxins via the kidneys, liver, bowels and skin. This process not only occurs DURING a detox footbath session, but also AFTER a treatment. The footbath triggers the body's lymphatic system and continues to detoxify for the next 24 to 48 hours. Before we start it's important that you understand that your skin and hair require an acid pH in order to stay healthy. There are different ways to accomplish an acid bath from a cup full of vinegar (apple cider vinegar would be recommended) or the use of hydrogen peroxide H2O2. Hydrogen peroxide is just water H2O with an two extra oxygen attached H2O2. When it comes to using hydrogen peroxide in the bath we recommend 40 volume hydrogen peroxide that you will need to get at a beauty supply shop. Be aware that some hydrogen peroxide products are mixed with other hair products. You want to get just hydrogen peroxide and Clairol which usually comes in the light brown or tan bottle usually has this in 20 to 40 volume. The hydrogen peroxide that you get at the grocery stores is 2% or 3% at most. 40 volume represents 40% hydrogen peroxide. This hydrogen peroxide will bleach your hair and that's what it's usually used for by hairdressers. So it's important to take some precautions when you handle this strong of hydrogen peroxide. You definitely don't want to drink it, or splash it in your eyes and if you get it on your skin it will bleach an area (causing a white spot) that could last up to an hour.

Now once you pour this quart of 40 volume hydrogen peroxide into a tub of water  it will be less than 2% at that point and perfectly safe. You don't have to worry about getting the bath water in your eyes or hair or anyplace else.

If you're dealing with the yeast infection on your skin or vaginally doing two or three of these baths in a weeks time could be very effective. Again you could always use vinegar but I feel hydrogen peroxide is probably more effective addressing more organisms effectively. Now if your a woman who is prone to infections after bathing a little bit of hydrogen peroxide or vinegar should correct this problem quite nicely. If you decide on using some precautions with every bath then I would recommend the Apple cider vinegar as it would be less drying to the skin. The Colon

The colon absorbs water, electrolytes, and nutrients from food and transports them into the bloodstream. It is about 6 feet in length and consists of the cecum (connects to the small intestine at the cecal valve), the ascending colon (the vertical segment located on the right side of the abdomen), the transverse colon (extends across the abdomen), the descending colon (leads vertically down the left side of the abdomen), and the sigmoid colon (extends to the rectum). The pH in the colon varies between 5.5 and 7 (slightly acidic to neutral). 95% of your serotonin is made in the intestines. For instance if your doctors is going to use drugs that make your liver sick because he finds your cholesterol elevated then maybe it's best he doesn't know your cholesterol is  high. Test study after study indicates drugs for cholesterol not only don't work (save lives), but they lead to other health problems and shorten a person's life. That's a similar finding with the PSA test. Because of the damage to men's health and the lack of extending life from all the expensive and dangerous procedures that are done once a positive PSA is found this task force recommends not doing routine PSA's.

Sure the urologists are screaming bloody murder but then this finding will substantially reduce their income.

So should a man in his 40s do a PSA? Here's what the task force says: Oct. 7, 2011 -- Men should just say "no" to prostate cancer screening with the common PSA blood test, according to draft guidelines from the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.

About a third of men over age 40, and about half of men age 65 to 79, get regular blood tests for prostate specific antigen, or PSA.

Rising PSA levels are an early sign of prostate cancer, but the test gives a false cancer signal up to 80% of the time. Moreover, not all PSA-detected prostate cancers are dangerous.

"The common perception that PSA-based early detection of prostate cancer saves lives is simply not supported by the scientific evidence," task force co-vice chair Michael L. LeFevre, MD, MSPH, professor of family and community medicine at the University of Missouri, tells WebMD.

"In the American Cancer Society's 2010 guidelines, we said we were uncertain: The evidence is not convincing that PSA testing works," Lichtenfeld tells WebMD. "We feel the task force came to a reasonable conclusion."

Just as women once were told that hormone replacement therapy would prevent heart disease -- until scientific studies showed that it did not -- Lichtenfeld says current evidence strongly suggests that doctors were wrong to tell men that PSA testing would protect them from dying from prostate cancer.

"Men need to know the truth," Lichtenfeld says. "We have gone through 20 years where we have had strong voices telling us PSA testing works. So there is a huge component of men who believe PSA testing has saved their lives. Now, when we say it wasn't necessarily so, that becomes a difficult conversation."

The idea of PSA screening is that it will detect early prostate cancers that can be cured. But clinical trials fail to show that PSA screening cuts prostate-cancer death rates.

"At this point we have had over 370,000 men enrolled in clinical trials, and we still do not see a significant benefit," LeFevre says. "If there is a benefit, it is very small. That is different from zero benefit, but the true benefit is somewhere between small and none."

The harm from a PSA test is that a positive test leads to a biopsy . Biopsy can detect prostate cancer -- but that's where troubles begin.

"The major problem is that most of the cancers we detect do not need to be treated, but we do not know which ones do need to be treated," LeFevre says. "And these treatments do have significant harms."

Etzioni argues that the Gleason score -- a scale used to evaluate prostate cancer severity -- tells doctors which cancers should be treated and which should not. But Lichtenfeld agrees with LeFevre that "we do not have a test to tell which cancers are indolent and which are aggressive."

Once they learn they have a prostate cancer, most U.S. men want treatment. And LeFevre notes that treatment carries very real risks. "I'm not going to criticize men who believe that their lives have been saved by this test," because that's what doctors have told them, Lichtenfeld said. "If you're sitting there and you wet your pants three times a day, you've got to believe it's worth it, that it saved your life."

Many men who agree to a PSA test do not understand what it is. Some common misconceptions:

PSA is just a measure of inflammation, and it can be elevated for many reasons besides cancer: normal enlargement of the prostate with age, an infection, even recent sex, a strenuous bike ride or horseback riding.

A recent Johns Hopkins University study found surprisingly high rates of hospitalization after prostate biopsies and a 12-fold greater risk of death in those who develop infections.

About 90 percent of prostate cancers found through screening are early-stage. Most will grow so slowly they will never threaten a man's life, but there's no good way to tell which ones will. Research suggests that tumors causing symptoms are more likely to warrant treatment than those that are not. Also, finding aggressive prostate tumors early may not affect how lethal they prove to be; the PSA test may just let men learn of them sooner than they otherwise would.

For every 1,000 men who undergo prostate-cancer surgery, five die within a month. Another 10 to 70 men will have complications of surgery. And 200 to 300 of these men will go on to have long-term urinary incontinence, impotence, or both.

"The net result is that doctors and patients and families are going to have to have very careful conversations with their doctors that really emphasize what the scientific evidence shows," Lichtenfeld says. "And that is not overwhelmingly in favor of PSA testing."So the question is should you have a PSA? What if you had a positive PSA would you run and have a dangerous and ineffective treatments done simply because you're scared? This study, which if you read it carefully, had over 370,000 men. It is a massive study. You would be surprised how small studies there are that release new dangerous drugs on the market or medical surgical procedures that have not been studied fully as this has.

If you have a Chiropractic Physician to do the PSA and follow his recommendations then that would be a completely different story. This is the best cancer to have. I know that sounds strange to your ears but if you read the study carefully you will realize the vast majority of man with prostate cancer outlive the cancer. Osteoporosis can best be detected through the use of a bone mineral density test called a dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry scan, commonly known as a scan. The second most common cause of death in women over 50, osteoporosis affects 25 million Americans.

In the study, a team led by Dr. Weinstein professor and chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at MCO, found that women with the following factors were more at risk for developing osteoporosis: decreasing weight at the time of menopause, a longer period of time since menopause, and a history of never having taken estrogen supplements from oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy. Of the 1,610 menopausal women in the study, two-thirds of the women did not have signs of osteoporosis when undergoing the DEXA scan. In one-third of the women, osteoporosis was seen in one or more sites in their bodies.

The study found that among women with a history of oral contraceptive use, osteoporosis was present in the spine of 17.8 percent of the women, while the percentage of non-users with osteoporosis in the spine increased to 30.9 percent.

From this we plainly see that osteoporosis is the loss of bone matrix (made up of collagen -- a protein), and actually osteomalacia is the loss of calcium. Picture it somewhat like making the floats seen in parades. The float has a structure of chicken wire that makes up the frame. Crepe paper is stuck to this. The chicken wire is like the collagen fibers. The crepe paper is like the calcium.

It is true that there is a loss of calcium in osteoporosis, however it is because there is no collagen for the calcium to stick to. Without the chicken wire there is nothing to stick the crepe paper to and it just blows away. The collagen makes up the "frame" that calcium sticks to. Without the collagen, the calcium just blows away. Adding calcium when there is no collagen is like making a float by adding crepe paper when there is no chicken wire to hold it in place. Collagen adds tensile strength and flexibility, calcium adds hardness.

As early as 1921 research revealed that slight spinal abnormalities could cause stomach and digestive disorders, including disorders of the esophagus, duodenum, and intestines. Henry Winsor, M.D., working on cadavers at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Discovered that diseases of the digestive organs were present when vertebral subluxations affecting nerves traveling to digestive organs were present. Lewit showed in 1985 that 87 percent of a group of adolescents suffering from duodenal and/or gastric ulcer had "pelvic distortion, with increased incidence of blockage in the craniocervical junction. In 1984, Grieve discussed the effectiveness of spinal care with dysphagia and "abdominal nausea.""' Maigne has written that relief of interference with the nervous system has alleviated digestive pains and "pseudo-ulcers,'' among other conditions. Robuck's clinical research led him to state that spinal adjustments could help individuals suffering from "dyspepsia and epigasitric distress." In another study of 100 patients with stomach and duodenal ulcers it was found that 86 had spinal abnormalities of the area that supplied the stomach with nerve fibers.'' The noted researcher N. T. Ussher, M.D., found that spinal misalignment could produce disease by irritating the nerves that supply various organs and that correction of the spinal problem could give relief to stomach ulcers, gastritis, colitis, and spastic constipation."

Osteoarthritis is rarely appreciated as one of the greatest problems affecting man. This form of arthritis is so universal that it is often regarded as a normal part of aging. There are many names for Osteoarthritis. The name most used is degenerated joint disease (D.J.D). The classification of Osteoarthritis as a disease has even been questioned by some authorities, who prefer to redefine it as "a mechanism of repair of dense tissue". Articular cartilage provides the joint with a self lubricating surface and works well under normal joint loading conditions. However, cartilage has a limited capacity for repair and re-generation, so damage to cartilage disrupts the normal function of this tissue, thus interfering with a normal lubricating process within the joint. Insufficient lubrication may be a primary factor in the cause of osteoarthritis. The tissues of the synovial joint are inherently susceptible to the development of osteoarthritis if range of motion or the amount of stress on the articular cartilage is excessive. Joints are threatened during normal day-to-day activities, and much of the joint protection is from the dynamic system of coordinated muscle activity. NSAIDs In The Treatment Of Arthritis And Side Effects

NSAIDs are broad class of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, including aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, Voltaren and other similar drugs. NSAIDs continue to be the mainstay of drug therapy for patients with osteoarthritis. Unfortunately, these drugs are over prescribed, readily available and not used judiciously. These drugs are not without side effects; the American College of Rheumatology guidelines suggest that patients receiving long-term NSAID therapy obtained a blood count, urinalysis and chemistry panel every three months. Monitoring cannot wait until the side effects of NSAIDs cause symptoms. Renal failure does not produce symptoms until it becomes severe.

NSAIDs are the most prescribed drug in the U.S.. Even though this class of drug is widely used and perceived safe, there are serious risks of complications. Among these are gastrointestinal ulcers and hemorrhages that can lead to perforation and death. More than one percent of the population uses these drugs on a daily basis. Adverse effects from these medications as a group, are reported to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) more frequently than any other medication class. In a study of economic effects of gastric ulcers in NSAID users, the per patient cost of hospitalization was $3,450; those in need of hospitalization and surgery cost of 15,700. The incidents in severity of acute mucosal injury are does depend but virtually 100% of subjects developed lesions after a single 650-1300 mg dose of aspirin. NSAID- associated GI problems were estimated to cause 32,000 hospitalizations and 3200 deaths per year in the U.S.. There is little evidence to suggest that NSAIDs have any advantage over sample analgesic's and sample analgesic's are also unsatisfactory. In a study of patience with chronic knee pain and osteoarthritis, treatment with either an anti-inflammatory, and analgesic dose of ibuprofen and/or acetaminophen showed no evidence of superiority of either the anti-inflammatory dose or the lower dose of ibuprofen compared to acetaminophen.

Rapid deterioration of joints from long-term NSAID treatment has been called analgesic arthropathy and is thought to be caused by loss of protective pain sensation, but it seems more likely that it is a direct effect of the drug on cartilage. In addition, oral administration of aspirin markedly accelerates development of osteoarthritis in C57 black mice, a strain genetically predisposed to the disease. If along with the external evidence that NSAIDs interfere with metabolism of articular cartilage and a repair of bone, clinical experience has shown use of these drugs cause acetabular bone destruction, joint disease and avascular necrosis of the hip. Even though NSAID induced arthritis has been a well-known since the 1960s, in a recent survey, 94 percent of primary care physicians indicated they would prescribed NSAIDs as an initial treatment for elderly patients with uncomplicated hip osteoarthritis.

What Is A Kidney Stone?

A kidney stone is a hard mass developed from crystals that separate from the urine and build up on the inner surfaces of the kidney. Normally, urine contains chemicals that prevent or inhibit the crystals from forming, such as citrate and magnesium. Crystals also may form if your urine becomes too concentrated or is too acidic or too alkaline.. These inhibitors do not seem to work for everyone, however, so some people form stones. If the crystals remain tiny enough, they will travel through the urinary tract and pass out of the body in the urine without being noticed.

Kidney stones may contain various combinations of chemicals. The most common type of stone contains calcium in combination with either oxalate or phosphate. These chemicals are part of a person's normal diet and make up important parts of the body, such as bones and muscles.

A less common type of stone is caused by infection in the urinary tract. This type of stone is called a struvite or infection stone. A bit less common is the uric acid stone. Cystine stones are rare.

The key is fluids. The patient will get IV fluids in an effort to flush the stone out. Small ones will pass on their own, although it is not comfortable.

If the stone is retrieved, Brown says, the lab can tell what it's made of and some dietary instructions for preventing a second episode can be issued.

If the stone is too big to pass and is blocking urine (a situation which can cause damage to the kidney), it may be broken up by sound waves. Or the doctor can insert a device into the urinary tract and grab the stone in a little unfolding basket and remove it. Surgery may also be necessary for some stones.

Drinking plenty of water is the undisputed champion of kidney stone prevention. Some herbal teas, such as those made from the leaves of stinging nettles, may enhance the benefits of water by acting as natural diuretics. Vitamin A is an essential ingredient for healthy kidneys. One carrot can give you twice your daily requirements for this kidney-friendly nutrient. Foods rich in vitamin A include sweet potatoes, pumpkin, winter squash, broccoli, and carrots. The B vitamins, specifically vitamin B6, are well-known stone fighters. Vitamin B6 keeps the body from building up excess oxalate. Too much oxalate is a major factor in kidney stone formation. For acid urine (the most common) two lemons or three limes in a quart of water is your drink of choice, or a gold label Alka-Seltzer which is just a bicarbonate will change your pH quickly. For alkaline urine cranberry juice and high doses of vitamin C as well as eating acid producing foods will be helpful. I recommend taking your pH to the opposite extreme for 24 hours. In most cases as soon as your pH is shifted the stone will dissolve enough to pass without much pain. Then try to maintain a 6.4 pH for saliva and urine. Watch out for too much calcium and not enough magnesium. Magnesium is the key. Magnesium citrate would be very helpful. Divide your body weight in half and consider that ounces. For instance 100 pound person should drink 50 ounces a day of fluids if they have kidney stones. Again if your urine is acid make that lemon water you drink at half your body weight.

The rhythm and quality of our breathing affects blood pH levels, making it more alkaline or acidic; and altered pH can correlate with asthma, anxiety and chronic pain syndromes. Stress, high-altitude, infection, allergies, kidney disease and even mouth breathing can affect pH levels. Short-term pH levels are regulated by the lungs, long-term regulation is by the kidneys. The relationship between the diaphragm, breathing and stabilization of the spine is closely linked. When the diaphragm is compromised and breathing patterns are altered, the spine will be involved and when the spine is involved with this function, pain, reverse is also true. Patients with a history of neck or back pain, even when the pain is gone, will most likely have an abnormal breathing pattern, causing inner core dysfunction affecting the diaphragm. Of note, epidemiology studies have shown that disorders of breathing and continuance are more closely linked to the development of low back pain than are excessive BMI and physical activity.

 

Breathing 101

Breathing should begin with the diaphragm and the opening up of the lower lungs. As we move through inspiration the upper chest will be the last that is activated. A lot of people will present with shallow breathing. In other words most of their breathing is in their upper chest which leads to hyperventilation and feeds anxiety or stress situations. When you're under stress it's common to go into shallow breathing as a stress response but in the reverse shallow breathing can cause stress. So under stress you need to breathe slower and deeper.

Breathing exercise

Lay on your back and put one hand on your upper chest and the other over your stomach. Now take a deep breath and notice which hand moves first or if both of them move at the same time. If both of them move at the same time or the upper chest moves first you need to re-program your breathing. When you first take a deep breath the hand over your stomach should move first and you should feel the air fill up around to your back, then your upper chest should move as you fill the upper part of your lungs. With a little practice you can retrain your breathing so the diaphragm works first. As the diaphragm expands you will feel your stomach move first at the end of the complete breath your hand over your upper chest will move last; this is the proper breathing sequence.

Take time to do 10 slow deep breaths and make sure that the bottom hand moves first, you can develop proper breathing habits. Using this method you can reduce stress. If you find yourself in a stressful situation and you take a deep cleansing breath and then 10 slow deep breaths engaging the diaphragm first this will have a calming effect on your system. ADHD is known to have a strong genetic component - one of the highest among psychiatric disorders - and several genetic markers are known. Similar symptoms have also been found in children with autism and fetal alcohol syndrome and even those exposed to nicotine in the womb. In two studies, ADHD-like symptoms appeared in 15 of 29 children who had strokes, and in 16% of children admitted to trauma centers after a head injury. Most healthy children exhibit many of these behaviors at one time or another. First, what NOT to eat for TWO WEEKS:

1) NO DAIRY PRODUCTS, especially cow's milk. This is the single most important restriction. Instead try Almond milk, Rice milk, or Better Than Milk. Drink water instead of milk. In fact, drink lots of water. The brain is about 80% water, and increasing your water intake to 7 to 10 glasses per day might be helpful all by itself. Sodas, Gatorade, teas, icees, etc., do not count as water. Water counts as water.
2) NO YELLOW FOODS. Especially Corn or Squash. Bananas are white. Don't eat the peel.
3) NO JUNK FOODS. If it comes in a cellophane wrapper, don't eat it.
4) NO FRUIT JUICES. Too much sugar content. One small glass of apple juice has the sugar content of eight apples. Later on you can have juice, but dilute it with water 50/50.
5) CUT SUGAR INTAKE BY 90%. If you can, cut it down to zero. Sugar is in just about everything, but give it a try. Do your best without going crazy. Ask about Steva.
6) CUT CHOCOLATE BY 90%. No more than a single piece, once a week.
7) NO NUTRASWEET. None. Period.
8) NO PROCESSED MEATS and NO MSG. Only get meats with labels that say, "Turkey and Water," etc. If the meat has chemicals listed that you can't pronounce, don't buy it.
9) CUT FRIED FOODS BY 90%.
10) AVOID FOOD COLORINGS WHENEVER POSSIBLE. See if your child is sensitive to any particular colors, such as Reds, Yellows, etc. For now, though, avoid all if possible.

SUMMARY: Just eat foods that God made for a while. Eat like people did in the 1940's. Go to a used book store and get a Betty Crocker's Cook Book for recipe ideas. There really are about 10,000 meals that you CAN eat. Just not much in the way of "fast foods" or "convenience" foods.

AFTER TWO WEEKS begin adding these foods back into your diet, one food every other day. Eat A LOT of that food every day for four days. If you have a problem with one of the foods, you will see some kind of a "reaction" within four days. The reaction can vary from big red splotches on the body to ears turning bright red to explosive temper outbursts. If there's a problem, you'll know. If there's no problem, enjoy the food.
