Most people don't realize that with Obama care that we will eventually lose some of our health choices. And what I'm sure most people don't realize is that we've already lost our freedom of speech in this country when it comes to healthcare. And it's time to see if social media has any meaningful benefit. It's time to stand up and say than I will not take it anymore, this is a government of the people, for the people and by the people. And as the government gets bigger we get smaller. Big brother knows better than you.

Let me tell you a story about you, maybe: let's say that you are fascinated with fragrances and you developed a perfume that when people wore it they notice there headaches went away. And after receiving hundreds of testimonials and doing your own small study you notice that was true. So what do you do with that information. Did you know about 3500 women die every year from ibuprofen that they take for headaches. What if you could tell the women of the world that if they wore your fragrance there headaches would disappear. It just so happens the essential oils you use to make your fragrance had an effect on the vascular system which relieved the pain when someone has a headache. That would be amazing wouldn't it? But did you know that if you told one person that, the FDA could come in and shut your business down. Think about that for a second, this is America the home of freedom of speech. You stumbled over a simple remedy for headaches, one of the top 10 reasons people seek medical care. Your treatment is based on essential oils that are been used safely for thousands of years. And pain killers are some of the most dangerous drugs on the market killing thousands of people every year. And you can't tell a soul about your fragrance relieving headaches naturally. Now we live in America. And you do not have the freedom of speech to tell others what you found out because you manufacturer that product. Now if you wanted to spend a couple of million dollars in research to prove that not only is it safe (even though these essential oils you use have been used for thousands of years) but is effective for headaches. Now let's say you had the money to do the research and everything is taken care of as far as that one hurdle.

Then you have to spend another half a million or more fighting the FDA to allow you to make claims about the product. By the time all that happens your product that you sell for $20 a bottle now will cost over $500 a bottle. And you have no guarantee that the FDA Will Give you the right to say what it does . Because they have a history when it comes to nonpharmaceutical, nonsurgical products or devices that you might be forced after spending all this money also spend it on attorneys in court to force them to give your approval.

Now get ready for what I am about to tell you, that if you did all of this to get your product approved you might end up taking out a gun and shooting yourself in the head. Why? Because now you have a $20 product that you have to sell for $500 a bottle to try to recoup the money you spent getting it approved. Because your product is made of natural products it can't be patented. What does that mean? As you're selling your $500 a bottle product to try to recoup your money Joe blow down the street finds out your formula packages it and sells it for $10 a bottle because you can't have sole property of your product because natural products are in the public domain. Pharmaceutical companies can have a patent on their product for 20 years and no one else can sell it so they can get their money back. So that's why it's morally bankrupt to put natural products under the same criteria as drugs. Don't you think the brains at the FDA know that? Of course they do they could care less. It's all politics. The medical doctors that run the FDA want to promote medicine not natural healthcare and that's why supplements have had to be protected by Congress or else you wouldn't be able today go down and by supplements at the store. The FDA wants to make them all prescriptions.

So here we are you have a product that could save thousands of lives and you can't say a thing about. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The FDA needs to be stopped and they need to be stopped today. Call your Congressman and tell them you want the FDA out of the control of natural healthcare products, like supplements. They need a new division that regulates natural healthcare products that are not run by medical doctors. There are plenty of natural healthcare practitioners who could run that division of the government and establish a level playing field. But if you don't speak up in you're going to continue to lose your rights. And pretty soon when you're sick the government will tell you exactly what kind of care you get, what drugs you have to take, what surgeries that you get there don't get and they will fine and put in jail any physician who doesn't comply with big Brothers rules.

Here is a notice I recently received from a company that makes nonpharmaceutical, nonsurgical devices. They are absolutely tongue-tied as far as telling people what their products can do and they could be punished if I tell you.

Government Update – FDA

A certain company (can't even name them)  has recently learned that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is once again doing what it can to expand the agency’s definition of what and who makes a disease claim on a product. Originally, they only looked at what manufacturers said about their products in order to decide how to classify the products. Then a few years ago, the FDA expanded this to include what resellers say about products as well. Now, the FDA even pays attention to what consumers say about a product — whether it be a supplement or a device — to determine if the product should be classified as a drug or medical device. This public information is considered to be part of the product’s labeling, depending on how the company responds to that information.

Facebook is a prime example of how the FDA is using customer feedback to dictate product classification. For example, if one of their customer was to leave a comment on the their Facebook page explaining how the products have helped them and this company  “likes” the comment, the FDA can use that to reclassify the this companies products as a medical device. Of course, it does depend on what the comment says, but essentially, all but the most benign comments become fuel for the FDA.

In order to stay ahead of the curve, they regularly reviews all customer comments on our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages and removes any comments that could be interpreted as “medical” in their nature. While this current policy applies to the FDA, we expect that other regulatory bodies across the globe will be taking similar measures.

While their Retailers and Practitioners are already aware of the strict limitations placed on them for what can and cannot be said about the their products, this serves as a reminder that it isn’t only what they say about the products that matter, but also what their customers say. While we would love to be able to have customers comment freely on the products, sadly, we live in a time where we have to monitor customer comments and remove any comments that might be considered suspect by agencies like the FDA.

Their Retailers and Practitioners are asked to monitor their customer feedback and remove any comments that might cause the FDA to reclassify their units. We would encourage you — like we do at this company— to contact the customer directly, advising them that their comment has been removed and why.
