CONDITION OF THE WEEK: ARTHRITIS Eagles rocker Glenn Frey suffered from debilitating rheumatoid arthritis for years — and died partly because of the pills he took for it, his manager said Tuesday. In today’s environment with toxicity, rise of junk food and the general breakdown of healthy lifestyle arthritis is becoming a bigger problem. It’s sad to read about someone who’s treatment for condition caused their early death. But the facts are over 2000 people a week die from their prescription drugs. Arthritis, best prevented, can be treated with natural healthcare. First of all you need to be on an anti-inflammatory diet, because our chronic diseases from heart disease to arthritis develop in a inflammatory chemistry. There are several anti-inflammatory nutrients like curcumin that can improve arthritis. With rheumatoid arthritis there’s usually an immune system component that needs to be corrected. Drugs don’t do that.

DIET: Eating certain fruits linked to lower risk of erectile dysfunction Flavonoid-rich foods like blueberries, cherries, radishes and citrus fruits may reduce the risk of erectile dysfunction in men, with the greatest impact on people younger than 70. In a conducted by the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Harvard University, researchers found that in addition to eating flavonoids, a diet with a higher fruit intake overall was associated with a 14 percent reduced risk of erectile dysfunction.

IN THE NEWS: Man drank himself to death ... with caffeine When an unidentified man in his 20s in Kyushu, Japan, died suddenly and inexplicably in the fall of 2014, police ordered an inquest into the cause of his death. Now Dr. Shinichi Kubo, a professor of forensics at Fukuoka University, is announcing that it appears to be the country's first documented case of fatal daily caffeine consumption, reports Japan Times. "We had never heard of fatal caffeine intoxication," the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said. The man, who worked midnight to dawn at a 24-hour gasoline station, had vomited on multiple counts in the year leading up to his death; Japan Times reports such vomiting can signal caffeine intoxication.

FUNNY BONE: What happens if you get scared half to death twice? @@The hardness of the butter is proportional to the softness of the bread. .@@ A sick patient asked his doctor, ''Flu?'' The doctor replied, ''No, I came on my bicycle actually!''@@ My optometrist says it comes from years of doing stand-up comedy, staring into the lights. Said he could fix it with laser surgery. I said, “What are you going to do?” He said, “I’m gonna shine light in your eye.”
